Do we have to take this work-around seriously ??

Re: Unable to update draft subscription via API

This is not really a workaround. The reason for using the API is that you don't want to use the UI. When can we expect a fix for this?

Re: Unable to update draft subscription via API

Hello!

We did a little digging and it looks like this bug was resolved in R190 a few months ago.

Edit Draft Subscriptions Through SOAP update()

Zuora now allows you to edit draft subscription information using the SOAP API update call. You can update the following fields before you create a subscription:

  • AccountId
  • AutoRenew
  • InitialTerm
  • InvoiceOwnerId
  • Name
  • RenewalSetting
  • RenewalTerm
  • TermStartDate
  • TermType fields

See SOAP API Subscription for more information."

I will update the original post.

Thank you!
