-
Production Deployment Timeframe: Performed in batches starting August 7, 2023

How do I know if my Zuora production tenant is running Zuora 360 and will be part of this upgrade?
From the top right settings dropdown menu in the Zuora UI of your production tenant, click "Commerce" and navigate to "Synchronize Salesforce.com Data" page. In the "Recurring Sync" section, if either of the sync modes are operational, your tenant will be part of this upgrade:
-
Real-time sync
-
Scheduled Sync
When will my production tenant receive the upgrade?
We will notify you via email about the exact planned upgrade date for your production tenant, about a week before the planned upgrade date.
What is better in this upgrade?
This upgraded version brings the following improvements for customers on Zuora 360:
-
Performance - Faster sync speeds for high volumes of data
-
Resilience - Improved sync efficiency and reliability
-
Configurability - Allowing selection of desired objects for sync from the Zuora UI
-
Operational Visibility - Richer sync operation monitoring
-
Simplicity - Faster time to troubleshoot and triage sync errors
How is the experience different?
Once the upgrade is complete, you can expect to see the following changes to your legacy Zuora 360 sync capabilities:
- Sync Execution Reporting: All sync reporting will be made available on Zuora System Health Dashboard, a rich telemetry experience showing sync successes and failures, usage, and performance. Customers can filter the data by object type, sync status, date range, and API action. To find the Zuora System Health Dashboard, navigate to the Data Connect System Health Dashboard from the Zuora UI navigation panel.
For more information about System Health Dashboard for Salesforce CRM Data Connect, refer to Zuora Knowledge Center.
-
Sync Failure Retry: All sync failures that are supported for manual retry will be posted on the Sync Retry Failures page. Customers can select one or more failed records and click the "Resync" button. In the future, the ability to retry failures will be supported right from within the System Health Dashboard. For more information, refer to the Zuora Knowledge Center.
-
Object Selection Capability: Select the objects you want to sync to your Salesforce org from the Sync Object Enablement configuration page. For more information refer to the Zuora Knowledge Center. As a part of the upgrade, we will ensure all your Zuora objects switch from legacy sync to the new sync service. Once the switch is complete, they will automatically show as checked/selected on this page.
-
Email notifications for near real-time sync failures can be set up from the Zuora Central Platform UI. For more information about setting up or editing an existing email notification setup, refer to the Zuora Knowledge Center.
- Simplified product experience: With this upgrade, changed data in Zuora will be synchronized to your Salesforce org in near real-time. Thus, ability to configure batch sizes and batch modes will be deprecated.

How does this impact me?
Customers will not experience any impact or downtime during the upgrade processes, and will not need to do anything to uptake the change. All the objects synced via legacy 360 will be migrated to sync via the new sync.
