Hi All,
Effective September 23rd, 2024 November 14th, 2024 *, we are rolling out a Data Retention Policy applicable to Files for customers in Production environments. To recap, This policy was made effective on Sandboxes in Q1 2024.
The goals for establishing a formal policy are primarily to:

Help standardize the data management lifecycle by reducing redundant file storage

Reduce risk related to data breaches
-
Enhance regulatory compliance for customers through automated archiving and purging
