    No service disruption is expected for this release.
    Release Notes for release 288 will be published under Zuora Release Notes after Sandbox release.We will update the release status in the comments to this post.

    Hi, 

    we see that in this release 288 , for the API GET InvoiceItem:

    /v1/invoices/{invoiceId}/items
     
    it's been added the "unitPrice" field, but I don't see this new field in API Documentation or in API ChangeLog
     
    It's possible know all the changes on the "REST API Standard" before to release in Sandbox ???
     
    Exists a roadmap and all changes at the REST API for the next release ?

    • CyberSource Payment API v2.0 now supports Decision Manager
    • Enhancement for payment run performance

    TCV calculation change for recurring charges with weekly based billing periods

    As of Zuora Billing Release 288, Zuora has changed the TCV calculation methodology of recurring charges with weekly based billing periods to be the same as that of the recurring charges with monthly based billing periods.

    With this change, TCV of a recurring charge equals to the Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) multiplied by the number of months that the charge is effective. 

    ^^^ What is the calculation before this Release?

    Thanks for asking! This is Yifang Wu from the docs team.

     

    According to the previous version of this Knowledge Center article, the calculation before this release for the weekly based billing period is as below:

     

    Weekly Based Billing Period 

    Follow the formula below to calculate TCV values of recurring charges:

    TCV = (Price/Number_of_Days_of_Base_Price) * (Charge_Effective_End_Date - Charge_Effective_Start_Date)

    For example: A recurring rate plan

    • Charge Model: Flat Fee Pricing
    • Price: $140
    • ListPriceBase: Week
    • Billing Period: Week
    • Charge Effective Start Date: January 1
    • Charge Effective End Date: January 20

    TCV = ($140/7)*19 = $380

    Release 288 was deployed to the US Data Center Production successfully. EU and US Cloud Data Center Production will be deployed next week.
