Tien Tzuo was named 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year in the Financial Services category by Ernst & Young. The award recognizes the endeavors of exceptional entrepreneurs demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
Tzuo joins a small but elite group of past winners including Marc Benioff (Salesforce), Sergey Brin, Larry Page (Google), Vinod Khosla (Khosla Ventures), Reid Hoffman, Jeff Weiner (LinkedIn), Aneel Bhusri and Dave Duffield (Workday) among others. E&Y receives hundreds of nominations from the Northern California region competition alone as Silicon Valley is arguably one of the worlds epicenters for innovation and entrepreneurship.
